We envision a future where autistic people are valued, empowered, and heard. Through bold innovation in employment, culture, and accessibility, Aubergine is setting a new standard—proving that when we design for autism, we build a better world for everyone.
Aubergine is a non-profit, fully run by autistic individuals, pioneering real solutions to employment barriers while amplifying autistic voices in the arts.
We don’t just talk about inclusion—we build it, proving that when workplaces and creative spaces are designed with autism in mind, they become better for everyone.
We’re looking for partners who share our vision for a more accessible and equitable world. With your support, we can expand our impact, develop groundbreaking programs, and create lasting change.
Aubergine recognises a systemic problem: the exclusion of autistic people from meaningful employment, creative industries, and fully accessible public spaces. Only 16%of autistic adults in the UK are in full-time paid employment, not because of a lack of talent or willingness, but because traditional employment structures, from hiring processes to sensory unfriendly environments, create unnecessary barriers that prevent many autistic people from thriving.
We’re meeting this need by creating employment models that work for autistic people, supporting autistic artists, and designing spaces from the ground up.
